On 17 MAR 2019 six cadets from the Maverick Battalion traveled to White Sands Missile Range, NM to participate in the Bataan Memorial Death March - a grueling 26.2 mile race in remembrance of those who marched in the actual Bataan Death March in 1942. Each cadet dedicated the race to a member of our Hall of Honor, one of which - COL Edger Keltner, survived the actual Bataan Death March. After his release as a POW he served as the PMS of the North Texas Agricultural College. Way to go Mavericks!
